Awesome Recruitment / Sample Controller (Position Filled)

Successful clothing manufacturing company based near Merebank seeks sample controller.
The candidate is responsible for:
1. Coordinating the arrival of new samples prior to each season.
2. The SC will be required to allocate each agent a complete sample set of the selected range after sell-ins are complete, pack & prepare necessary paperwork to have these sent out as well as keeping record on the original tracking report.
3. All styles that are not included in the range are to be packed in their allocated boxes/box numbers & stored in the sample cage.
4. On completion of each season, the SC is responsible for recording samples returned for the agents, pairing-up all redundant samples & packing/preparing them for the rafs stores.
5. The SC is responsible for maintaining order in the sample cage at all times & will is required to gather certain samples by request throughout the year for agents & staff purchases.
6. The SC is responsible for ensuring that the showrooms are ready for presentations & sell-ins throughout the year.
Compulsory Requirements:
• Proactive & willing to work extra hours
• Basic computer skills are essential especially excel i.e. they must be able to put together a simple spreadsheet
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy i.e. attention to detail in capturing information and in following up on information is essential
• Ability to understand and to follow set procedures is critical
• Good communication skills i.e. must be able to communicate assertively with senior people
• Must be organized
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Minimum education: Grade 12
• Must have been exposed to an office environment before
• Salary range: R4000 to R5000 per month
