Large textile company in Pinetown seeks Industrial Nurse/Risk Officer. Applicants should have a relevant nursing qualification and be registered with the SA nursing Council Dept of Health, 3 – 5 years in a similar environment, be computer literate, have a dispensing and an audiometry certificate. The successful candidate will :
• Provide and manage the health care service
• Treat injuries on duty
• Manage and monitor industrial diseases
• Conduct pre, post and annual medical examinations
• Control and maintain stocks of medical consumables
• Conduct first aid training to meet statutory requirements
• Provide risk control monitoring and auditing service
