An opportunity exists for a qualified Electrical Engineer or equivalent to work at a prosperous Energy Saving Company, based in Durban.

The successful candidate should:

• have a relevant diploma or degree
• have about 5 years working experience
• have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• be able to travel frequently to major SA centres
• be up to date on all modern energy saving technology devices and planning

The position involves:

• assisting with and handling various electrical energy management portfolios of nationwide blue chip clients.
• analyzing criteria and making energy and cost saving recommendations

The successful candidate will be trained and become conversant with:

• NERSA
• Eskom
• DE working groups
• M and V certification requirements
• Remote access energy profile capturing and reporting
• Carbon footprint
• Carbon trading
• Electrical tariff applications
• Energy reducing reports
• Client liaison meetings
• Specifications
• Professional opinions
• Business Development
